Laptops are confirmed allowed to be brought to the party.

Laptops confirmed ALLOWED.

In response to some of the posts here, server pcs will be setup for participants to run some of the games that require the use of these servers.

Games will not be provided by the organizers however some of the game sponsors will be sponsoring activities surrounding their titles.

We are still working with as many companies as possible to generate activities for the LAN party.

Internet connection will be available but torrents will not be allowed as it will interrupt many online games such as World of Warcraft.

how you guys control the internet connection as i do not think everyone will heed the advise of stopping the torrent if the internet link is quick enough

Haiz... I think may be not many ppl will join this tournament.
Read the rules carefully before join. You must bring computer with legal OS. Cannot be pirated one. And sumore need to bring whole CPU, keyboard, mouse all the way to CyberJaya. =_=

I think the best is organizer provide CPUs, and players just need to bring their keyboard mouse only. Or may be held the tournament in somewhere that easy for players to carry their CPUs to the tournament place. This will be better.

well, 100% agree with u dude! I dun have a CPU nor a laptop! It would be totally awesome if the sponsors provide everything. But talking sense, how to get over 300 pc's rite? However, can borrow CPU from CC?

so in the time i joining tis activity i cannot surf lyn ? only can Dota dota dota or other games ?

i wanted to join,but my cpu jst reformated and seriously i got a sucks computer that only me can tahan with it lol
so hope can provide some cpus heheh

i might joined....might ask few frens joining. luckily i use genuine OS can join eh...hope my spec not too out dated.

got free food i go.. but pc only have pirate software (os+games)..

then it won't be called a LANparty anymore.

I think they might overlook it coz not everyone has genuine OSes and games also.... Dun tell me that they will check once u set up ur rig and then found out that it is pirated and kick u out....

PS: Not everyone is a CS and DoTA freak....

with regards to pirated software, they already said they will not be policing your software, so its your own responsibility.

as for for computers, its in the Guinness rules that for a LAN party you must bring your own PC. therefore, they cannot provide PCs for you.

a list of games to be set up would be nice, that way we can start stocking up. also, if any leagues are going together, this would be the best place to have your own "mini tournament" NFS

i wish to entrar but my spec is only, China MoBo, celeron 2.8 ghz, 512 ram and 640 gb hdd. so humiliating....

It doesn't matter what specs ur PC is as long as ur PC can play games on LAN..... Why those ppl wanna compare who has the better PC???

no, my hdd is full, not enough power to play the games there. build in graphic cards, stuttering even on playing CS

they feel cooler when
