How long does it take for ferrets to reach breeding maturity and how much does it cost to neuter/spay a ferret?

for neuter/spay should be around RM150/RM200.. depend on what method the vet use..

Y nt get one which is neutered and u'll have less headache on tat medical bills?

Had a deal with my breeder to breed the girl i'm getting once with one of his males.

Please make sure the breeder knows bout breeding ferrets too..

One thing that i am very curious is, if u r getting from that breeder, why dont he guide u on the breeding himself? Coz he is the breeder anyway right?

And why would anyone make that decision to breed urs from the place u get ur ferret? Inbreeding may occured! Hope u realise this too..

Anyway, just my opinion.

How come straight away venture into breeding without knowing what u might land urself in?

He knows how to do so. But i would prefer to learn how to breed it the holistic way. Not the pet store or the old school uncle way. Breeding is for selective colors as well. The last thing i wanna do is to make money with animals attached to me. If i wanted to do so, i would have owned a Glider farm by now.

You claim the breeder is inbreeding and that the breeder has no knowledge at all about breeding. Why so judgmental? Straight venture about breeding. Haha. You underestimate me and my judgment of what is right and what is wrong. Thanks for your concern tho. I see that you keep many ferrets your self. Hope to learn stuff on ferrets from you pro ferret keeper if i have chance.

Erm... I weighed my ferrets this evening using my mom's kitchen scale for curiosity sake. Kaos is 1.5 kg and Disco 1.8 k.g.

The little ferret is now bigger than big brother.

Keep eating like tat, Disco will be like a Hall-Dance-Floor, kekekeke

Hello, another wonderful day in Ferretdom...

I was wondering if you guys know how to answer this...

I was watching both Kaos and Disco eat and play this afternoon and realized that Kaos has mellowed a lot (since I first met him in April) and has a nice temper.

Disco is still a busybody, who pushes the older Kaos aside whenever he sees me opening the cage door / has a treat in my hand / while eating / anything.

My question is, does ferrets have such thing as the alpha ferret? The ferret who dominates others?

I was wondering about it, though I know every ferret has its own personality. And Disco is still budak-budak lagi

Yupe....fr what we experience, sometimes one will bcome leader...bt for neutered ones,it wont be tat aggressive..if nt altered ones,might even take other's life..This happen nt only in males, bt also in females....Sometimes also they r trying to fight for attention...Sometimes, they r more interested in the food you're holding(expecially young ferrets)..Bt i would say tat there's no fight, no worries....no harm for some1 to be leader as long as it's harmony rite?...

I got a friend stitching up a carrier bag for a ferret (because a carrier is a bit too heavy and so so BESAR SAMPAI ORG NAMPAK). The price of carrier bags skyrockets in just a week in Malacca... One day it's RM 68 and the next week, RM 120. Giler betul!

How much are they in KL you guys?
