The price very cheap, but then again i not so interested in half life game, so im gonna skip it. Waiting for price reduction of HAWX.

Luckily i bought my warhammer 2 box set, the steam edition price reduction not that great.

I also quite surprised that just a week after hoping for a discount. They finally discounted HAWX. But i was hoping for something like 19.99 since 29.99 still abit high.

I guess i gonna get it when i go back 2 sing since faster download speed.

I wonder if it will still have the promo tomorrow at 7pm coz i want 2 go back 2 sing, then make my purchase.

Well they did say weekend right? So I suppose it last until sunday (US time) which is monday here in M'sia / S'pore roughly noon time

Now my question is HAWX really worth getting
Will it last? In terms of multiplayer coz I've read review of it on IGN and the multiplayer seems does not fare very well

DoW2 wasnt really a good buy for me. Oranga box was a very good deal.

Hawx so-so since. At least i got far cry 2 for 13.99.

DoW2 was decent for me.Not as great as vanilla,but i believe it will be improved later one.Relic's been really serious with the patching,IMO.

When i said DoW2 wasnt a good buy, i meant that the steam discount wasnt that fantastic. The game itself has only crashed on me once though so its reasonably stable.

With a price diff of only 10+ dollars between the box set and steam download i would go for the box set.

Plus games where i am really into, i would go for the box set. Those which are so-so i would usually wait for steam to drop the price like far cry 2.

Alright,i misunderstand your post then.Sorry for that.

It's not worth buying off steam.Too expensive,IMO.

I only buy from Steam when the prices are low enough,like 50% less than retail.

Interested in this game too. But not so sure if its good or not. I think i will just wait for the first few reviews before making my purchase. thumbup.gif

If you want cheap but relatively new. Then i got quite a good deal since bought far cry for only 13.99 during promo. In singapore, retail is around 61.90, if convert 2 sing dollar i only paid 22 dollar for the game, just 1 third of the cost of the box set.
