LOL cheese. Great way to justify playing games. I can almost imagine....
Cheese's mum: Stop playing your games and go study
Cheese: But mum, I AM studying
Cheese's mum: ???

I love your thinking by the way cheese. tongue.gif

Thats solid mechanics, statics and a bit of structures there.

The goos are joined by pin, which is also used in real life. Some of the problems are almost the same as the problems i solve in tuts. laugh.gif

The candilever puzzle actually let me see how moments work on it.

Yar, then you can study momentum (when your big ass tower start shaking even a little bit, you are in big trouble...), vector forces through wind and co.

When you think about it, World of Goo is a pretty "smart" game, if you wanna complete it you need to think at least a bit, which can't be said from lots of games nowadays tongue.gif

I am not so sure the mom excuse would work though!

Luckily this isn't the weekend deal or I would be pissed.
How dare they repeat a recent deal.

Dark Sector is so-so. Cover system like Gears of War with a few twists.
Guess it's okay.

I tried Eve... and now I think I am struck in it tongue.gif

By combining normal trial + Steam offer I can play until 3rd of August for 8$ with a full account (without trial restriction).

Pretty good deal to try the game

Steam is offering both Elderscroll 3 GOTY and Elderscroll 4 GOTY as of 17/06/2009 (with 20% discount during introduction)

I have just bought both of them.

Oh my God!

This weekend is 50% off for Empire Total War (Normal Edition and Special Edition)

The Special Edition has a few more extra units.

Can't remember the rest.

I would suggest getting the normal one if you are getting it from Steam.

For Empire the Special Edition is kinda sucky, only few extra units in the game that are not worth so much. I would personally suggest to save the bucks

ETW is 15Gb so on Steam its gonna hurt to download that on Streamyx but again, up to you guys

Bear in mind the game has great potential but also has some flaws right now that are not toally fixed yet by CA. The AI has issues, the economy has issues and I am personally still getting random CTDs once in a while (others seems to have it fixed though).

The AI while not the brightest is already better than the previous total war AI's. 1.3 is coming out this Monday. The economy is working fine the last time I checked. It not a realistic simulation or anything....but it is constantly being tweaked...
