guys and girls, there seem to be a problem with the SP2 update does it?

I have just updated to SP2 an hour ago and right after it reboots, I can't seem to have a stable internet connection! On my router it says I am connected to the internet but, on the taskbar, it says I'm connected locally (usually it shows Local and Internet).

the case goes like this, opens up FF and the homepage is shown (google.com). Googled something and when clicking the results (new tab), it opens but, images doesnt load. Tried refresing the page and it'll results in "cannot find webpage...bla..bla" I even tried to use IE8. Same result. Or worse, homepage didnt load.

Closed both apps and tried opening new FF window, sometime it'll show homepage and sometime it doesnt. Tried over and over again. Once I got a 'stable' connection, googled for "internet problem after installing vista SP2", the guy had same problem. Some windows tech support replied, dont know how it ends tho.

I've restored to previous point where I didnt installed SP2 yet. Internet is working fine. for now.

WTF?! This thing is happening again! Is there any solution to this?? Why there's fluctuation of the connection??

ya know, I do thought of that it might be the internet itself is making a fuss. But, as far as I know, the router is showing no sign of un-stable internet connection. The DSL light isn't blinking (it blinks if no connection) means it is stable.

should I update my router's driver?
