I took the first one in Sg Lembing. Really a beautiful place to watch the sun rise. A couple more pics from there:

For the 2nd, I didn't use any specific special effects filter, I think I mainly played around with contrast and saturation until I got a result I was happy with.

^ if want an honest answer, then it would be no, there's not much dynamic range for you to convert into a HDR image anyway... im guessing your original image would look better instead.

Bro, how come your picture got "Photomatix" watermarks?
Are you using Photomatix Pro 3.2, cause AFAIK mine don't have watermarks.

Or are you using trial/free-version of Photomatix?

Thanks~ Your very right~I just walked out of my hse ans simply point at the sky to get few shots for HDR processing~Just trying it out~
