At least make a report lar. Contribute to the statistics, if not police everytime show "proof" to the newspapers that people bising bising but in reality the crime rate is very low.

The other camera's are dark, no lighting? No sensor alarm that will trigger should any movements be detected?

Burglar alarm is a better option shakehead.gif . Camera can only show robbery but arrest is very unlikely. shocking.gif

Yo. Reporting crime in Bandar Sri Damansara.

My house got broken in the afternoon in April.

Right after the residents association said that there was a new police station set up with a mobile police station(basically a van).

My section, whole row almost all houses broken in.

My neighbour's house got broken in at 9am before CNY.

When I report police, they never care to write down serial number. New laptop and video camera stolen.

When I got info and went to police station to update info, I heard that that day itself got 5 NEW BREAK IN CASES. There was one person saw people who broken in and called the police station only to have no answer.

When asked the reason, THE PHONE IS CONNECTED TO FAX.

Lame excuse right. I hope they will buck up since break in happen more often AFTER the police station WAS SET UP. WHY?

We stayed in Sri Damansara for 9 yrs. then we sold my house and moved to PJ recently. Crimes
were rampant all along, such as car jacking, snatch theft outside the RHB & MBB ATM, several house break-ins
on the same day. In 1 incident a guy went for evening stroll at the jogging track, he was forced to take
the robbers back to his home. One night 3 Indonesians rang my doorbell @ 10.30pm, we ignored them,
then again for 2nd time they rang the doorbell, we decided to turn on all lights in the car porch & back door
light. We saw 3 Indonesians watching our house from the jogging track. so we called the Polis and they said
they would send someone over but sadly nobody came over. In the end we had to stay up till daybreak for
fear of breakin when we slept. One poor lady had her arm slashed outside Maybank after ATM cash withdrawal.
For your info. Maybank got robbed twice in the same month, RHB being on the same row also was not spared.
So please be alert when coming back home (day or night), better install autogate & alarm system to protect your family, they are getting even more desperate these days.

You know i rather be sleeping than awake when a breakin in happens unless you are armed with a pistol or something. These guys could have parangs with them and are not afraid to use it even if there is a whole family in the living room. Even then if you think yourself as ready you wouldnt know cause someone breakin in could trigger a paralyse effect on yourself leaving yourself unable to move if that thing happens.

You can't tell what's gonna happen nowadays. Crime is just everywhere and it can happen anytime. That is why preparedness and safety first should be always in our minds.

Live incident

Snatch Thief now using better trick.

They use Honda type motor which produce low noise motor. They wear very neat , collar t-shirt , it's like normal person dressing.

Once your all doesn't notice they will snatch your beg , ring ,chain and etc. The'll ride very slowing the and suddenly pop infront of you.

Beware.
