This round it comes with more goodies in a package. You get pairs of ear plug and dock connector protector.

Going to get one set ASAP.

that's gonna make the iPhone even more bulkier (more than the old Rebel). but it offers awesome protection though. the goodies are exactly the same as the one that came with the old Rebel. the only difference is with addition of a dock adapter and connector cover. smile.gif

Hi guys,

I have heard some pros and cons on the iClooly ALUMI and xStand Macsense ST-100 standing case for the iPhone 3Gs. Can anyone tell me which is better? Also where can I get it and how much?

Thanks for all your advise and suggestions! rclxms.gif

Finally receive my SwitchEasy Capsule Rebel M "Menace"

Attached Image

2x Anti Static SP
2x Uni Dock Adapter
2x dock protector
2x earphone protector
1x video stand which can stand vertical and horizontal as oppose to previous model only horizontal
1x micro fiber wipe + squegee

Comparison between Capsule Rebel Serpent and Rebel M

Attached Image

The new Rebel M plastic material is thinner which cause the phone to be much lighter. About the bottom part, it still saggy but not prone as rebel serpent does. Power button has better respone than rebel serpent.

Cons : Is bulges out due to the menace design yet still provide the same protection as Rebel made off. thumbup.gif

Hi there... first time posting here but I've been reading for a while. Will be the proud owner of a 16GB 3GS soon (fingers crossed) and looking seriously at the Sena Magnetflipper. Anyone here with experience using this case?

Welcome to the club. If you ask me, the minimum protection you should have is a shield and there are many in the market ie. Invisible Shield(IS), SGP Shield and Bodyguardz(BG), etc. Do a survey and see which you prefer. The downside however is, if you have it on, you may not be able to slip the iPhone in the type of case you are eyeing. However, you can with most silicone cases.

Suggestion....go through this thread, it's very informative.

Hi, i'm using sgp shield for full body, when installing, i used fabric when pressing the round corner, and then the edges somehow stick a bit colour from the fabric, become yellow, i couldn't remove them with water. the yellowish doesn't bother me alot coz i will put on case when i get one but i'm worried that they will stain the real surface of iphone after a long period. is that possible? anyone has same problem before?

Thanks. I've looked through this thread and it's been very helpful. Did find that most of the members here prefer the hard/silicon style casing. I agree they show off the phone way better but I need something I can throw in the handbag and not worry about the screen getting scratched by all the junk I carry in it. rolleyes.gif That's why I'm thinking of the Sena and a good screen shield, maybe the Martin Fields if I can find one.

Handbag? Oh, you are a lass?!

Then your choice is pretty sensible but the downside, as I said, is you can't have a shield on. But another one you have is to get a silicone or whatever casing you desire which will protect your phone from even knocks and drops; and get a pouch like Golla and the like which will prevent potential damages when it is in your handbag.
