Does Malaysia government charge any taxes?

u can bank in the cheque at your acc.
some bank charges certain percentage or service charge

I used to do it with public bank.. just bring them the cheque and give them your account number. they will do the rest for you.. but the money will takes month to transfer to your bank sometimes

use western union quick cash as payment instead... dunit to wait for it to sent to ur mailbox, then have to wait for it to process the cheque n stuff....

save the hassle, use western union, very fast nii (=

according to some bloggers out there, they have a list of comparison of the bank charges, if not mistaken, RHB bank is the cheapest charges.

if using cheque, you need to paid for the charges, around RM25 more of less, different bank different charges.

we no need to paid any fees, no need to have bank account too, you just require to bring ur IC & the MTCN number to the particular bank and take "CASH"

Western Union is free, and much faster.

It takes a whole month for the cheque to arrive, then another whole month for the cheque to be cleared, plus you will be charged.

Government issued ID - IC/Passport number perhaps.

Afaik you can cash it at any bank provided that you have an account same name as the cheque

No need to photocopy your IC before hand, the bank will do it for you.

Government issued ID is your IC. MTCN is the number AdSense will give you when payment is issued. You can see that under My Account > Payment History. No notification if payment is issued, you have to check it for yourself. Normally it's around 26th of the month.

No need of a CIMB account or anything. Fill in the Western Union form, hand it to the banker, and she will give you the cash.

No charge. Normal exchange rate.
