wat u need to do is not to use the memory card..get/download recovery software and recover it..done it b4..and done it for other ppl..not 100% ull get all ur pics..but most of it will be there IF you do not snap more pics with it.

goodluck anyway.

You can try among of these recovery software:

DiskInternals Flash Recovery (GOOD)
DiskInternals Uneraser v3.6
FileRecovery for CompactFlash v1.2
F-Recovery for CompactFlash v2.1
smart data recovery
Smart Flash Recovery v4
Ontrack Easy Recovery v7.8 Pro
File Rescue Plus v4.0.0.11

I have personally used DiskInternals Flash Recovery (GOOD) before. It is good. Maybe you can try a few since 1 software can recover files that another software cannot recover. It might take 4 to 6 hours (estimated) for the recovery process to finish for a 2GB memory card.

Remember, do not use your memory card before you recover your file. Using memory card will overwrite those recoverable files / photos.

Good luck.

hey..
if you are sure he did not format it, you will get to recover it.

I had my experience with my olympus XD card, sent it back to Olympus at Plaza Mont Kiara, and the specialist there helped me to recover all the pics and save them to a CD for me. Reasonable price too ( that was in 2007). My camera was not even bought in Malaysia and had passed the warranty period!

I would suggest you to seek help from the manufacturer. Contact them and see how they would help.
