hi~
i gt few question~
Do u have any warranty for ur camera?
what is ur advice between holga 120 n 135BC?
wat is the exactly different between them?
*

Hi there,

for the holga, we do give warranty for them.
for beginners, we would recommend the 135BC, although the 120 is the original true Holga.
the main different between both of them is that the 120 uses 120mm (medium format) film. a bit difficult to get the film but we can recommend a few place where you can get them. the 135BC uses the normal 35mm film that you can get in any 7-11 stores or any reputable photo shops smile.gif

Cheers!

Hi Bubbles!

The Holga120GCFN, Holga120FN, Holga 120CFN are basically the same. So they will produce the same effects. The difference are as such;

"G" in the GCFN stands for Glass lens. Supposedly the photos will be sharper and clearer
"C" in the CFN stands for Color flash. You can switch between 4 colors for the flash.
"F" stands for Flash. So the Holga 120FN has flash but not color ones.
"N" stands for New or Normal. The original Holga is 120"S". The N version is the upgraded one.

So 120GCFN has it all.

Color 135BC is the same as the normal 135BC. Just it has a color body, instock in either red, red/white, or white.

You can view the sample photos by different Holgas in the 3rd posting.

For beginner, we would recommend any of the Holga 135BC. Films are easy to get, either in reputable camerashops or 7-11.

Hope that helps tongue.gif

Cheers!

lol. expired films are films that has past their shelf live in the shops. many lomographers prefer these expired films as it gives a certain old vintage look to the resulted photos. the old expired are better. but what we have is films that are expired in 2008 and 2009, not old enough to get that vintage color shifting effects. they are as good as fresh. we have used expired films as old as from 1977. we love the results.

fresh ones are as it is, fresh.

you have to know that lomographers do not look for normal sharp plain boring photo results. if that is what you are looking for, you are better off with digital cameras smile.gif
