check head fi forum, there is a connector but u need to wire it urself as the connector on the card is only compatible with dell connectors. but it's just wires and connectors tats all, get an electronic wiz friend to help u make a connector convertor. i'll post a link later

Added on December 29, 2008, 5:21 pmheres the link, sry it's not head-fi it's driverheaven, kx development thread

http://www.driverheaven.net/audio-general-...signment-2.html

heres wat the pins are, it's j1 pinout

1 - Analog Ground
2 - Analog Headphone Out Left
3 - Audio Backpanel Mute -- short to ground to mute the backpanel (when headphones are plugged in)
4 - Analog Headphone Out Right
5 - same as #3
6 - Mic input from front panel
7 - key pin (shouldn't be there)
8 - VREF out -- voltage reference for Mic
9 - MIC IN MUTE -- ground when mic isn't plugged in, +12VDC when mic is plugged in
10 - Audio cable detect -- will be ground when headphones are plugged in (not normally used)

now it's up to ur mod skills to make this work with HDA front panel connector

OFFICIALLY.... creative cards CANNOT connect directly to the front i/o panel of the case unless u buy the front 5.25" bay I/O panel seperately (which usually comes with platinum series cards)

just one of the reasons why people hate creative for their money making ways.

the one ivanjong posted is a DIY solution.... so unless ur willing to DIY, the only way to get audio from ur soundcard at the front of the case is to buy the damn i/o panel. otherwise, use an extention cable.

Your card doesn't support that. Only a handful creative card that allows you to connect to Front Panel slots tongue.gif

One of them is XtremeMusic and XtremeGamer . Thats about it
