The first perk without doubt is stopping power
second perk is Boots of Travel
third perk is Sange and Yasha
fourth perk is Portal (Steam)
fifth perk is sign of (please make a u turn)

You have to be kidding. CoD4 remains one of the most graphically impressive* games to date, which is amazing for a Dec 2007 release.

*Doesn't apply if your metric is Promod with shadows/r_drawdecal/camera bob/etc off for 'competitive play', in which case comparisons don't count in the least.

i am not saying the graphics are bad but theres many games out there that already surpass cod4 graphics and since most of todays mid range graphic card can already support cod4 graphics smoothly at the highest detail level...i think they would bump up the graphics a little bit at least or a new graphic engine altogether

So you want another game like Crysis where no one can play it on max settings?

well i never said i want it to be like Crysis...besides Crysis isnt even that good and u dun even get the point as i said most mid-range card now can handle cod4 at the highest settings...it would not hurt to bump the graphics up a little

Well chums heres some info I got from other forums

Apparently Infinity Ward is pissed at Treyarch and its CoD 5 : WaW for ripping most of the major gameplay elements. And they hate Activision for being a b**** about " Every year needs a new CoD franchise ". So they fought hard to divert themself from the franchise itself thus with the game of its own itself

You do realize that if you bump the graphics up, alot of CC's won't be able to play it?

It's gonna be hard to promote a competitive scene for a game like that.

Even with it's current settings now, only a few CC's have computers that can play the game at a constant 125 FPS and that isn't even at high settings mind you.


Anyway good to hear Infinity Ward is now independent. We can look forward to better management of the game.

thats the problem when malaysia cc all have low-end hardwares that only cater dotards which doest even have a mid-range graphic card but u got a point there though

Who cares, people care about gameplay and competitiveness.

i hope its longer and more intense than cod4 single player mission.....nothing much about graphics have been announced by infinity ward so we wont know....the trailer is interesting....lol teddies...its probably some kind of flashback i guess

CoD4's engine is a heavily rewritten/customized CoD engine, which is in turn a proprietary license of ID Tech 3 (Q3A) which John Carmack based off the design of the Q2 and Q1 engines.

Having to choose between an intense shooter with a short cohesive plot vs a long, drawn out OMFG WE GOT EVEN MORE SOLDIERS INCOMING, I'd choose the former. That's CoD4 vs CoD:WaW. After playing WaW twice I can't even name half the missions in order.

IW has always known what they're doing in terms of delivering a solid game (well, maybe not a competitive e-sports one out of the box...) and the fact that they're willing to part ways with their original baby just to move forward says loads. I can't wait for this release.
