QUOTE(leongss @ Dec 15 2008, 01:35 PM)
My cousin J loves her boyfriend alot and her boyfriend loves J alot as well. My cousin's boyfriend is still staying with the parents. Sometimes, her bf would ask my cousin J to overnight at his place. Firstly J feels 'bu hao yi si' spending a night at the bf's place. The mother might not like it...
But after a while it has become a normal thing.  blink.gif

Do you think the bf's family will think negative things about my cousin staying a night at his place??
His mother invited my cousin for a family holiday in Pangkor Island in March 2009.
I know some parents are open minded but how open minded can they be? I still think this is not nice leh... maybe i conversative  sweat.gif

Both of them are 25 liao... big boy anf girl but STILL. shakehead.gif

I'd love to but I know, something will go wrong someday. My parents wouldn't allow too.

it is a normal thing now, it gives her sometimes to communicate with her future mother in law as well. well don't expect them not to do naughty things but as i had said it is normal but they might not do it as well who knows.

for me, no matter i close it or open it doesn't matter because my mother is very "open" according to her, so sometimes in a month me and her will spend 2 day with my mother in her house. we enjoy it smile.gif

i'm staying with my girlfriend. Duringthe weekends, she would come over at my house. I don't see anything wrong and I love her of course. But that's my case. If i have a daughter, no way i'll let her stay overnite at boy's house. Unless she's 23+

I don't think anything going wrong with this issue. We are living in a cyber world now. This thing is too common nowadays and out of 10 couple, which couple never over night at the bf/gf place before ??? As long as both parents don't mind, then it's okay.

Let us see from a different perception, what if they hang out too late that day ?
They mother of the son also worried if on the way fetching the gf back home something happen ( eg. robbery/accident because way too sleepy to drive). So why not stay at bf house after hanging out until late night every weekend and the next day only back home. At least both are safe back to home and no one get harm or injured. We can't sense when danger come and only thing we can do is to PREVENT.
I use to do that last time when I hang around till late night with my bf but now no longer as I prefer back home early and sleep ( old already tongue.gif )

And about the age of 25 both staying together is much more common those days doh.gif
I'm 18+ and my bf was 25+ that time when we use to hang around till late night.
I stay with him every weekend and the next day he fetch me college and some time when I back hometown, I will overnight at his place and the next day only he send me back home ( I usually reach my home town at night ) .
