It's pretty pointless actually, most of the websites out there don't use the advanced features that are tested by acid3.

My point is that, if you'd really wanna compare performance, AcidTest 3 may be able to help you conduct a software-based test of different browsers.

I know, and I sorta agree that acidtest3 is useful for measuring performance...but most of the time, the speed differences between Chrome, Opera, and FF are quite small (IE no comment), and the performance is more likely going to be affected by your internet speed, and not your browser.

I think that's why Firefox is so popular...Opera may be blazing fast, but Firefox is fast enough, and it has the very useful extensions system which Opera doesn't have.

i like chrome too. but i seem to have problems downloading pictures. when i right click on a pic, i have to type .jpg at the end of the file name otherwise it will not save properly.
