canon ixus80 n sony w150, which wan better ? canon is made in japan, how bout sony ?

I don't know how to explain technically but Ixus photos under Auto mode generally has better composure.

Just wanna noe, is 1000d ok for a beginner? How does it rank among all other entry level dslr? Wat places offer good price n free gifts when purchasing a dslr? Like bag, tripod, spare battery, protective gear, etc.

i do not have stable hand, the photo that i took are not clear even during daytime. i need very good image stabilizer or high ISo (if i am mistaken) DC.
