i might get celcom bb as well, i guess. went to puchong perdana last nite and saw my friend using it superbly.

funnily, jez got back from giant bt caves. asked celcom bluecube there. they sell usb modem for rm699! LOL

will do few more findings before making up my mind =)

the only cons is that celcom is capping the usage based on what i've browse thru on the net.

my problem with celcom broadband recently

- always show 'cannot displayed the page' when submitted any form on the website
- extremely slow load for certain website (friendster for example)
- need to maintain data transfer continuously, otherwise i need to re-dial again..

other than that, the speed is ok.. download speed also ok (depending on the server location).

so im asking if you all also face the same problem?

its because the upload.. damn slow. sometimes its not working. i`ve always faced those problems which it can upload anything including ym or msn. what to do.. not much option in sarawak..

Anyone face problem torrenting lately? My utorrent suddently can't log in at all for the past 2 days (status always shows "Waiting to log in".

make sure u try it at your home/work during peak hour 8pm onwards..

better buy/upgrade to a hsdpa phone like SE G502 (RM420, exclude cable + CD), if best signal is far away frm your PC desk u can use bluetooth dialup, u can bring the hsdpa+opera mobile to mamak etc

make sure the monthly subscrip. is no contract!, if celcom signal goes bad u can always switch to other..

erk mind to ask. how to check wether our account is under usage of 5gb or not? fyi i just registered d68 a week ago

it's hard to track our usage, unless you using Huawei E220 with Mobile Partner which you can track the data traffic.

If you don't have, it's easy to see if your usage exceed 5GB. You'll face sudden slow speed either when browsing or downloading.

hi guys i think i already exceed my 5gb usage .how can i know the exact billing date cycle?

me got .2 ip. no problemo. download full umts speed.

slow dosent mean got capped. what slow is slow ? if capped, 64kbps for umts, 128kbps for hsdpa.

Yesterday I got .2 IP address and it wasn't that slow but can't access to heavy imaged sites like facebook. Need some time to be able to access to it.

as for mine still havent been capped though have reached and xceed my 5 gb limit.
Guess somebody did not do their job properly i think.
At my work place can even achieve speed up to more than 1 Mbps.

Still having problem with the disconnection thinggy.huhu hate it.

I believe Celcom BB had started to block P2P network. My torrent and Skype doesn't work well. I check my firewall, no problem.
Anyone experience the same thing as me? My browsing speed is superb! My IP is 203.82.79.2

no lar. I still can download using torrent. but direct download without using any Download tools$ quite hard. browsing speed still acceptable so far.

Same problem. Difficulty in posting to the forum. Even Gmail doesn't seem to be able to send email out. WTH.

My celcom BB line is 013 7288906. I can get connected to the Celcom
BB network with 3 bars HSDPA and alwiz allocated this IP
219.93.152.34. The problem is i can't browse many sites although I am
connected to the network, meaning I alwiz get "page not found". And
I do not think this has anything got to do with the 5GB Fair Usage
Policy coz the error msg is simply "page not found". I suspect is
your network problem. Pls rectify it

and there are not shown my upload,? why?
and after that this message show:
