AMD works on Phenom II stepping 3 ! : http://www.fudzilla.com/content/view/15557/35/

Stepping 3 is all about operating at lower voltage and lower TDP and will be the core of AMDs Q2 2010 notebook Phenom II quad core chip.

I wonder how much it will be when it is on sale in lowyat. I saw x4 620 selling for rm360 last week, seems to be the 620 is still a better deal.

i sure do hope that they speed it up...cuz i'm planning to get a notebook next year end...current AMD Turion processors r jz no match 2 the intel core2duos...

i would say go for the 720BE, jz shift the multiplier easily without changing anything and u can get a good 3.1 - 3.2ghz without any voltage changes and using stock heat sink fan as compare 2 starting of with a 2.6ghz x3 710 which u will need more experiements and skills to OC it...HAHA, cuz i dunno much bout OC, only know how to shift multiplier and V only...afterall, its not rly consider enthusiast OC, jz upping the multiplier abit for a slight performance boost...equaling to x3 3.2ghz vs jz merely x3 2.6ghz, a significant difference there... jz my opinion. bro...

noise because the fan need to be in high rpm to cool down the temp, so..the greatest way to reduce noise is make ur cpu cooler, or in other word change hsf

changing better hsf also will reduce the temp of proc..furthermore, bigger hsf with heat pipe tech use low rpm fan, but high airflow.like mine, rpm 1800 only, but got 85+ airflow(cfm). original fan usually can shoot up to 6k rpm, dats y it is noisy.
