waxing gives me ingrown hair!!
plus I'm sensitive to Veet's wax strips. It makes my pores swollen and itchy!

shaving is much easier and faster smile.gif
have to do it regularly if you wear skirt often though.

there are many types of wax in the market currently.

normally, DIY, we use cold wax strip which can be found in any pharmacy. it's like a film of wax, put on leg, and pull it off. the hairs + roots will be pulled out.

if hot wax, must buy the kit, but have the same procedure as above.

else, if too mafan, just go to salon that provide waxing such as Strip @ Bangsar.

But i dislike waxing lar, always got ingrown hairs after that rclxub.gif

does ingrown hairs mean the hairs stuck inside the dead skin?

i have this prob too, how to get rid of it rclxub.gif

i don't shave my leg because it look bad when the hair grow again... i used veet's wax strip... after waxing, if some of the hair grown again, i'll use the tweezer to pluck it... but usually after waxing, my leg will look red, and itchy... but it will recover after the next morning... i usually wax in the night...

I do the same thing ken_zie does.

YOu can try going to Strip either at Bangsar or at The Curve. Glitter in 1U also has its own washing salon. Most beauty salons will do it for you. Just the cost you might want to factor in.

If you are new to waxing please find a professional to do it for you. Just the first time. After that you will get the idea and be able to do it yourself. Especially if you are doing the warm wax kit. Cold wax tho hassle free doesn't give the optimum results that come with warm wax.
