I watched this movie a few hours ago, and damn, it was shocking. I mean, i was expecting a horror filled movie, but it wasn't really scary, but that damn old lady caught me off guard many times. A really good movie, and a decent twist at the end. I feel a little afraid when i'm alone now haha

Well, how can you say it "wasn't really scary" then?

Well, many of my mates told me that they faced troubles when sleeping, driving back home etc. They told me it was EXTREMELY scary, but it was just shocking to me. That damn woman pops out everywhere lol.

Yeah been nightmare watching that movie especially Darkspirit Lamia rather than that old lady =.=' sometime i feel like something gonna grab me to Hell

this show i must say, acting skills not up to par, some scenes really hilarious, non stop laughing, is it on purpose on what?

Watched the movie 2 days ago, and yeah the laughs and scares are pretty good in equal amounts. It's a bit of a throwback to Evil Dead 2 also directed by Sam Raimi (in 1987 when he didn't have the hollywood budget) which had a nice mix of humour, horror and gore. So yeah in answer to your question, yes it is on purpose.

I watched the trailer, n I thought it was stupid... Just an old lady cursing a girl. I just hate the part where the idiotic old lady just flies out from nowhere. Even at her grave, it was also gross and scary. Her funeral...

But when I was in the cinema, my eyes were close 50% of the time. N my bf's arm was red after the movie.

This movie is super exciting and scary. All horror fans, go n grab your tickets now!!!

yea this movie too horor even some funny parts can't cover it..

crap.....after this movie. im not gonna watch another horror movie for sure. watch it few weeks ago, drive back time, saw those paper flying through i avoid it, and sleep time also can imagine this movie stuff......until now also got. crap. i hate this movie.

a fun and enjoyable movie..!

(but kinda predictable with the ending)

Same here. The other night after dropping friends off from watching Transformers 2 late at night, I kept looking back at the back seat of the car to check whether anyone is there and didn't notice the bumps on the road. When I finally reach home didn't sleep till the mosque started prayers in the morning.
