just installed in both of my laptop n desktop, i think alot better than 2008 in term of performance especially lighter and less memory consumption, previously i always face problem in pc lagging especially dealing with download and updates....

in term of value for money, since each pack comes with 3 pcs installation, i think it is worth than pervious NIS version.....

Used to be on N360 V2 until NIS 2009 was available. N360 V3 is scheduled to be launch early 2009.

If not mistaken, you can upgrade to latest version of any norton product, as long your subscription still valid...

Tested out NAV2009

I am happy with it to a certain extent. I hate it because of the need to update every 1 hour. Most update doesn't mean that it's most secure. It's like a little waste of bandwidth.

Quote from the help file:
Pulse Updates checks for protection updates every few minutes and downloads the streamed virus definitions. Pulse Updates provides the updates in between the full updates, which LiveUpdate downloads automatically every eight hours. It protects you against the rapidly changing environment of security threats without compromising your system.

Therefore, I disable the Pulse Update. If this 30 days of usage I'm happy with it, I'll gonna purchase the license. ^^
Way to go Norton! rclxms.gif

My recommendation, use your (if you have one) old norton product key @ unused key from the previous version. I think it still work. And cost much lesser than to get the new version... Just my 2 cent...

how much is NIS2009? i'm using trail right now, its very fast, lower memory footprint compared to KIS2009 on my other computer and overall much better GUI.

i think i saw this ad once where it went for only RM99 but not sure that was NIS2008 or 2009. 2008 was horrible btw. can't believe i'm actually picking up a norton again after 5 years of boycotting their products lol.
