streamyx 1mb = 1024kbps = 128kB max.
your dl speed 100kB also you said slow? laugh.gif
then you should upgrade to 2mb package.

I face the same prob too. My max download speed using rapidshare premium account is 110kb/s! doh.gif While my frens using rapidshare free account can reach the same speed as me! sweat.gif Both of us using 1MB account. I called streamyx for clarification why my download speed is very slow but they said they cant do nothing. mad.gif

what problem? what dl speed do you want?

most of time i also got fullspeed as free user.. why u call streamyx while u already archive decent speed?

I didn't mean if using free rs account the speed will be slow but i just want to do a comparison. My frens rs dl speed using premium account is around 250kb/s but mine is max 110kb/s only just like free rs account! I tried with his account too but my dl speed is still d same. sweat.gif Just wondering why my connection is slow compare to others.

maybe they use different package i guess hmm.gif or maybe their area is located near the port hub hmm.gif

since when premium account can boast up d/l speed doh.gif shakehead.gif it doesn't yer newbs...it kills your waiting time...it supports download manager...it allows you 2 resume your download...it allows you 2 queue the download...it allows you simultaneous download

1MB streamyx can never pass 130KBps unless TM miscap your line which is highly unlikely...there is nothing wrong with your PC...its more like you think 2 much already laugh.gif doh.gif
