hi frend, i just gotto know that now GOW2 come out with all the maps in 1 DVD. It is selling now in the market......so means we dont have to face the problem of downloading.....

i will try out tonight....is exiciting!!!

bad news. shit....the ip is still a problem even if you got full maps pack disc.....you still not able to download. anyway, will try another solution....keep trying.

Added on October 27, 2009, 2:20 pmhi mates, i still have problems downloading the maps of Gears 2, even i have tried many ways...i even bring the HDD to other countries like Taiwan and Hong Kong (Except Singapore), but still fail.

I really hope someone can give a hands here and we can play together....

Use VPN to download? Or ask some friend from Asia country like Singapore or HK to login your live account through www.xbox.com and help you queue in your download list (If you trust them by giving your password).
Then when you open your xbox connected to the live, it will automatically download it

Btw, may I ask that the game you bought, the map pack is not include in the DVD eh? But is coming with a code and need to redeem it eh ?

the cd that i bought is with a code redeem. is not in the dvd.

Erm ... this is what i heard lo. Not sure but give it a try

1) Ask your friend in either singapore or hong kong to login into your account from www.xbox.com

2) After login, go to your account there and click "redeem code".

3) Type in the code and if accepted, means that item is bind to your gamertag. After that log off from www.xbox.com.

4) Back to yourself (malaysia) Turn on your console with Ethernet plug in and connect to live. It should be download automatically to your console. If not, just go to download history and check

yup confirm stuck at 99%.. your xbox need to have SG (or US.. etc..) ip to complete the last 1%

Yup..

Get your pc on VPN... then cue the download from xbox.com.sg

on your xbox with normal connection.. it will download until 99% (because streamyx download much faster compare to vpn)

After that use VPN over xbox to complete the last 1% and voila.
