Hello everybody,

I'm sure as a student, we would want to save as much money as possible. We look for scholarships and compare prices of tuition classes/colleges/universities. But what about textbooks that come with astronomical price tags? So, I hope this thread would help current students look for used textbooks at a fractions of the price and for ex-students to sell their used textbooks.

I thought of that but I think more students visit 'Education Essentials' compared to 'Garage Sales'. Moreover, selling and buying of used textbooks is related to education, right? I hope that you could give an exception to this. Thank you.

I have some old first years books... I studied anatomy, physiology and biochemistry. Most books are really old (1950's, 1990's) books but I have newer ones

Textbook of Histology- really bartered one; with pages falling away but really REALLY good stuff so... I would give it off RM45. (Knowledge worth more you know)

Lipincott's Atlas of Histology with Text - In really good condition, I buy it for RM150 so I sell it for RM150. Note: Retail price at Kinokuniya is a lot expensive though... two times the student price.

I have lots of ebooks on anatomy/physio, psychology and biochemistry.. I'll negotiate the price anyway...

For second years books; I bought mainly parasitology, pathology, pharmacology and microbiology books... anyone interested in buying them, just PM.

Note; I have Atlas Parasitologi Perubatan; first edition with RM90 (retail price) and the dewan bahasa dan pustaka won't reproduce them. I have lots of coursemates who would sell their books though, only if anyone interested.

PM me for medical books and stuff. For some titles that can be expensive at normal bookstores, I can buy them at student price from my lecturer but PM first.

i never even buy those books, i sit in the library and read. ^^ that way no need to waste money lol
