The WoW's DIY Lowerping solution works with War too. My lag is 99% gone using the linux tunneling method.

im having issues with RvR. It lags only in RvR, and usually when in combat. I dont know why, pve is fine, normal delays of 300ms.

and no, its not a graphic lag, im on quadcore , 4gb Ram,gainward 4870

anyone has a fix?

Maybe you can try this : Turn on AA and AF

For ATI card, read post #15.

thanks, i will try that solution and post here if it fixes it for the benefit of others.

Let me further make it clear on the problem. During RvR, no problems, just like normal. The issue starts when the combats starts, it would lag there, for almost 10 seconds then i would be dead already =/.

I thought it was packet loss, but after going RvR the whole night, i tend to notice exactly when does it happens.

Added on November 10, 2008, 3:43 pmanyone knows the ip for iron claw?

apparently, 203.166.115.1 is for ironclaw, anyone else can confirm this?

but im not sure. Since warhammer doesnt have ping counter/graph. It's hard to say which ip range is best playable for Ironclaw server.

anyone on 60 ip range have some tips to which is best to play on?

any 218 range users having any issue with latency in ironclaw?

Streamyx is always pain in the butt , and i did stop playing wow because of this latancy and IP routing issue . However i dont have any problem right now , just have to find the Right IP . Use this command :
ping 221.133.202.162 -t

after that find the good IP without any timeout , iam getting 165-171 ms with out any timeout , however with other wrong Ips iam getting 300+ with alots of timeout.

I've tested North American servers and they have better bandwidth and latency.

From Penang, got 115.132.x.x IP range totally no issues playing in Oceania server. Got this IP range a EXTREMELY FEW times so I can confirm for sure this is the best for me to play WAR. Did a IP lookup on it using http://aruljohn.com/track.pl and found out this:

Results of IP Tracking for 115.132.x.x
IP address 115.132.x.x
Hostname 132.115.in-addr.arpa
ISP CORE IP NETWORK DEVELOPMENT,
TELEKOM MALAYSIA BERHAD
Country Malaysia Malaysia

What can I say? Happy like hitting the jackpot. biggrin.gif

60.49 and 60.50 in Kelana Jaya region have near free latency toward Ironclaw server. Though it have some spikes here and there but its 97% playable. wink.gif

Elaborate. As far as latency is concerned, at least resetting my modem to a new IP could get me a yellow latency bar in WoW. With Lowerping, it's even more playable.

I'm still waiting for WAR's improvement in ping. ohmy.gif

streamyx mate. It always it, and will always be sad.gif

My friend in SG have no issues at all =/

btw, those playing on darklands, to find the best ip simply ping the server ip 221.133.202.162, and find your best ip suitable.

60.51 is the best currently, usually 170(lowest)-250 ping, and usually never times out. I have a tried all the others, and they timeout like mad.

*credits goes to Deviladvent for the server ip
