I have a friend wishing to voice out his dissatifacting as well but like to be kept annoynomous, hope it is Ok... He's a non-forumer and was reccomended to "Click n snap", but will not go back there anymore from now on:

"I must say i agree with you as well, Avenger. Not trying to ruin this Matthew's thread but still need a channel to vent out as a customer that have high expectations on such a reputable seller. I share the same feeling as you, Avenger, being isolated as if we are no big deal customers, sigh.

Stroy as following > Bad experience with "Click n cnap" regarding some replacement and service issue. This issue was very costly as ruined all my works and wasted lots of my time. When discussing for solution or alternative, the same nature of answer such as in your case: "...you can buy another lense" was given. But well, life goes on and i am already with some other gears bought from other seller. And i lost lots of money due to this.

For both good or bad efforts yourself and your team provided, thank you all so much anyway. I hope you all take my comment as statement to upgrade yourselves rather than feeling angry about me. I do not wish other customers to face the same bad feeling that i went through before this"

Hi KittyKat,

Mind to share with me what has actually happened in our outlets? You can ask avenger he's coming back for us for the repair of his 40D. Everyone do encounter mistakes and error sometimes. No one is perfect. Anyhow we've took our effort to upgrad our service department status last month.

The problem is that, he online register the warranty of 2 years. I told him not to mess up with the warranty card and make it unfill. we wont be telling from A to Z why not to fill in the warranty as there would be many possibility. My supplier agree to change 1 on 1 a new set for them. But he registered the warranty via online. We cant help them much. He were asking us to change 1 on 1 even he's registered online. This is not because our service issue. It was his mistake as he wanted the 2 years warranty. I believe that no one can help them with this issue. I've tried my best. I've wasted many phone calls with my supplier to achieve the solution but after they discovered he has registered online, they cant help much. We've done our best. It's not only he gone through many troubles as we did our part too.

She came up to Penang did not arrange meet up with me earlier. I was on leave / Having event with Penang governor ( maybe im not sure when she came up ).

Your friend wanted us to replace A NEW PIECE of UV crystal filter. This is totally imposible. You can request NOT TO REMOVE the UV FILTER. He should have mention that earlier with panasonic. Sometimes we wont know panasonic remove what and what.

I hope this will help. This is not because of our issue. This is Panasonic Issue.

P/S : This is additional message which is not in PM :-

I'm nobody to judge, Matthew. Both made their arguement. But as a customer too, i wouldnt like to hear too much of such comments regarding a dearler. One comment, fine. Two comments, still Ok. If three, four, five??? Hmm... Well, maybe those involved were just running out of luck i guess.

Anyway, just a few statements since you brought it up:
(1) Are you trying to say if warranty not registered, then cam will be replaced 1-to-1??? Then the defective cam??? Repaired??? Then sold??? As new??? I dunno but just leave to you all dealers/distributors to figure out. But poor next victim i would say. No wonder, my experience with some dealer's that some items are not actually brand new but open condition (and i felt that it is well used actually). When checked their shutter count, it is not NIL. Well, to some it doesnt matter but to the rest, it matters i guess. But i wouldnt say its customer's mistake to register warranty, Matthew. Whats the catch if warranty not registered and one year lapse then having problem with... say a cam??? Will Panasonic still entertain??? Will you entertain??? You see, sometimes, these are whats on mind of customers. It's 1+2yr warranty we're talking about. Buying additional warranty costs like??? How much??? Maybe to some, matters as such are peanut, i dont know???
(2) Understood, big shots are always more important than us small timers. Noted!!!
(3) How not to remove the filter if the entire lens assembly have to be replaced??? Puzzles me as well after looking at few of my friend's units applied with similar type UV filter??? Maybe you can educate us???
(4) Dont mention my firend, i myself will not accept a loan cam for safety and security reasons. It is just not fair for both parties IMHO. You can shoot me.
(5) You guys can choose to sell at RSP, then he and/or many other buyers might not have purchased from you, thus problems as such might not happen from the beginning. If in RSP, i also will not get the LX3 from you. It's a competitive market out there, you decide. Anyway, he's not that greedy to want two replacement filters!!! And anyone can say anything now, rite??? And yes, that includes my friend.
(6) Nobody's boycotting, but if you want to put it as such, i dont think he have a problem with it.
