Artic Cooling Accelero S1 is a damn forking good cooler smile.gif
It has been serving me over 1 year. Still running fine,
at room temp 28c~30c load temperature < 55c with Cooler Master 12cm 70cfm LED fan

* with air-conditioned room temp around 21-22c the load temp only <50 degree celcius

I tried RE5 on 1920*1200 with this card, max everything, no AA. Still 40-70fps during gameplay biggrin.gif

Anyway, anyone knows of a free GPU-accelerated video codec that works reasonably well on both ati and nvidia cards for 1080p?

hav done anything i could except format my window
this is 1st prob for 1k card i bought disember 2007...hohoho
(rm999 precisely)

but i feel it is more mobo prob than the card itself

am surprised that 8800gt is still future proof despite released almost 2 years ago. second hand price is rm250 - rm280.

am going to make an upgrade to 8800gt from 6600gt.the only gripe is: OVERHEATING

i7 with 3 hdd, 1 souncard, 2 5850 is 470w.

and youre afraid cant support 8800gt? lol

yeah, i ran the card before on 390w psu, with 2 hdds. xigmatek shouldn't be any problem, it can even support gc higher than 8800gt, like 4850.

as for the comparison with 4770, i think both are almost close to each other, my guess is that the 4770 might edge out a bit in certain games.
