I think you're a newbie in this field so i'll explain to you. Tmnet is throttling p2p connections so you get less speed on torrents unless you subscribe to vpn or you got an account from a private tracker.

For rapidshare, rapidshare has capped free users speed to 50kb/s . When you get 60kb/s that is quite good already. Want faster speed? Get the premium account.

The rest, slow browsing / youtube etc , depends on your ip + the users in your area. If it's overcrowded then for sure you'll face slowdowns.

topic starter, use your brain please.

normal user with 1mbps, RS only <30KB speed, torrent not even reach 30KB!!!

about youtube, they no brain said malaysian will watch the sensitive issues, so they block it, that's why so slow.

why so slow?
this malaysia mar, so nothing is expected, everything is shit and sucks.

conclusion, malaysia is a country without broadband and freedom.

Coz it makes no difference since TMNUT throttling the line...

For real-life example:-
Imagine one highway with 10 lanes sure no jam right?
But imagine police roadblock until left 1 lane...jam or not?

lulz

Nope, my 4Mbps is certainly not the same as my old 1Mbps connection. My download of Ubuntu Hardy Heron was stable at 424kB/s, and my PS3 downloads PSN content around the same speed.

Now, TM owns you but

in Russia , you Own TM..

lol..

Just to share a light, i know off a torrent community from several high profile trackers and once when i told them that our isp blocks p2p traffic from our country they all recomended that we sue them . Why?

1. They throttle p2p traffic without informing / stating it.
2. They deny the fact that they are throttling p2p traffic.

Now, as they said, if you were either in the USA or Europe, the ISP wouldn't dare to lie to you if they're throttling p2p traffic when you ask them. If they did say they didn't throttle p2p traffic but you have proof that they did, you can haul them in court and sue them . But then again this is Malaysia, Cheating is legal here as long as the higher authorities practice them.
