Yalor....I know the temperaute is high too...Wat to do company only give me processor without heatsink cry.gif cry.gif

...so I go get the normal intel LGA 775 hsf heatsink for RM 20~30 one (the one with blue color fan but mine is all black k)..No money buy expensive one...

look at the picture u know by right quad core extreme should come with bigger type of heatsink free one....

You see, tkh's quad is overclocked and heavily overvoltaged compared to yours. Plus his only rise 25C from idle while yours is a 42C increase from idle despite being at stock vcore and stock clock.

The rest are all just C2D though, lesser heat generation definitely. Mine shaved about 13-15C off the load compared to stock biggrin.gif.

ya but to think the price of a heatsink = a G31 Bearlake chipset mobo....I rather paying for the mobo...

which what I did recently...

everything I got extra except board...

so since company give me free quad extreme , I take out my quad Q9300 yorkfield and go buy a very cheap RM180 G31 board, few pcs ram laying around, got few empty casing with PSU and hdd laying around..and a few dvdrom n writer laying around and a few graphic card laying around...I set up my 3rd rig in Penang just for downloading use....After setup this 3rd rig...I still find a lot pc hardware laying around tongue.gif

I guess I buy too many pc stuff already but not fully utilize lo...got a company laptop, then got personal macbook. got another 3 rig here with me and another 2 rig at home town..

I just like swapping the hardware around...

Heatsink definetly my last priority to upgrade in the list... hmm.gif

ss kit is not a necessity bro. xigmatek comes with those push pin kits and its performance compare to those with sskit doesnt differ much.
