only happens to WMP? how about other player?
conflict within WMP and Windows maybe?
why dont you restore your window to the WMP version that comes with the ORI XP?

You can upload the latest one (Mini082908-01.dmp) as attachment over here in your posting.

But, I suspect a conflict with your installed codecs. Another possibility is your multimedia drivers.

Just upload the dmp file by clicking the "Add as attachment" button when you reply this posting. You won't be able to open a DMP file without a proper tool, in this case a symbolic debugger.

Ok, maybe because this forum thread does not allow such files. There is a special thread which allows uploading such files....get it up to this forum thread

http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/346230/+760

Ok. I got your file from Rapidshare....but you gave me the crash dump on 27 August 2008, not the latest one today.

It seems that there is a problem with your hard disk which is related to virtual memory (paging). The page file has accidentially include a bad sector.

Kernel debugger...nah, it is a symbolic debugger where it relies on file symbol information to decipher some crash dump instructions.

I will give you the link for downloading the Vista version of Windows Debugger tool. Just wait...

Ok..here...if you are on a 32-bit OS, choose the right link for 32-bit system

http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/DevTools/Deb...ng/default.mspx

And, create a symbol file path folder somewhere in your volume/partition, let say "C:\WINDOWS_SYMBOL_REPOSITORY", and open the WinDbg and configure File -> Symbol File Path and enter exactly the following:
CODE

SRV*C:\WINDOWS_SYMBOL_REPOSITORY*http://msdl.microsoft.com/download/symbols

And to open a crash dump file, choose File -> Open Crash Dump
