Hmm guys, can somebody enlighten me what is this 2 option in my bios?

Robust Graphic Booster : Auto ; Fast ; Turbo
Performance Enchance : Standard ; Turbo ; Extreme

When i put performance enchance to extreme, i need addition of 0.5-0.7v to get my processor stable on the same clock speed. But the superPI score did improve a little by 1Sec.

Which PDF you referring to??
Yesterday I found out that the absolute vCore and vTT are below 1.45v.

Thanks notworthy.gif

I usually base it on Intel's own specs.... for example, the Q9300 is here (VID voltage range): http://processorfinder.intel.com/Details.aspx?sSpec=SLAWE#

However, it never mention whether that is for bios setting or the average vcore in windows.... hmm.gif

Yep, I posted the wrong link sorry. Kmarc's statement is right - we can deduce from Intel VID specs that max safe voltage is 1.3625V. 1.45V is the absolute max given in the documents, and I'd be very hesitant to run my proc near that =p

Well thing is the extra 100-200Mhz isn't really needed la for daily use. So keep a low vcore and a conservative overclock lor =p

both are not from the same family and specs so u cant really compare that way IMHO...

q6600 have a higher multiplier of 9 which makes it easier to reach higher clock n capable of taking more voltage due to 65nm while q9450 is a proc with lower multiplier of 8 thus making it not really that easy to reach a high clock... but as far i as know, running the same clock speed n other settings together, q9450 will beat q6600....
