i think ASUS bios dun have that..
but have GTL and something clock overcharge (dunt remember what its name)??
will try check after work..
coz really want to clock higher la..
since tested my ram can handle till 840MHz( 420)

got some prob with the voltage etc.. donno ur mobo include or not..

but mine must take serious action upon it..

the LLC will stablize ur vdrop/vdroop so should enable it..

my last test ended few min ago..

can clocked to 3229Mhz

FSB=380
Vcore = 1.325 in bios / 1.296 in cpuz
under test voltage drop to 1.22-1.24v
GTL set to 0.61x

temp all okay..
max less than 60C

try this setting
wif even 385 FSB cant pass even 1 min..

vcore quite high though.. my 3ghz 400fsb just need less than 1.2v..
that's on gigabyte..

now just leave all to auto..
except for the FSB and PCIe freq

here my bios snap..
only got these setting


Added on October 21, 2009, 11:20 pmif left to auto..
bios give 1.256 Vcore idle
but drop to 1.200
not stable OCCT @ 3229MHz

tried set to 385.. cant POST edy..
even feed 1.35v

maybe because of ur ram.. the value 3 change to 4.. do it manually..

IINM inside the Transaction Booster got performance level.. try to loose it..

pcie = 100 enough...

im ocing my x3320 on p35 ds3 with KVR
my question is how much KVR can go without adding voltage and losing timing coz 400x7.5=3ghz not enuf for me

is not adding voltage maybe 30-50Mhz x 2
so around 860-900.. some need extra 0.1v

last time just doing 400fsb
ram 1000mhz @ 2.0-2.1v

Using the intel original extreme cooler , the cooler use on those QX proc , 9650 smile.gif but idle only 43~47C , but full load so big diff sweat.gif , and my gc more and more worst , idle 88~90C ....habis liao cry.gif
