lol, it is supposed to be a secret... zz
no, only 1 year and 2 years contract available
guys, if you don't mind, I'm sending all screenshots in this thread to the datacentre and Amax office as they requested it~

I'm at Sri Petaling and my area is also terrible these few days~ still can't do anything other than forum posting~

Added on October 27, 2009, 7:58 pm
I am free to demo at 6pm - 12am on weekdays, I believe all users should see the speed themselves at their own homes before deciding~ fully refundable for ALL payments that you do~

now with Sri Petaling and Cheras having problems, I will have to hold all applications at these 2 areas before it is resolved~ I am a resident here at Sri Petaling as well, so I am on the same boat~ rest assured, I will try my best~
*
Sexualpower, i've posted my speedtest result at Sri Petaling area during the night time.
Please talk to Amax technical team to resolve our slow download speed problem as soon as possible. If they don't take action, i will shoot an email to Huawei manager in charge of Wimax business in Asia Pacific region.
I believe Huawei Wimax Team won't ignore our complaint as Huawei is the only technical partner of Amax in Malaysia.

The above speed test results are extremely slow for 1.5Mbps package which is can't be accepted at all.

Hi slackinux - do share the email address of the Huawei manager here in LYN, for all of us Amax users. Even if not all of us will send him a complaint email now, it is good for all of us to keep this email handy, who knows next time, one of us might need to use it...

Thanks for sharing...

e-mail sent at 2:01am~ I attached most of the speedtests here~ thank you slackinux, darenlks, and kanethesun~ dating back, it has been 9 days already and the problem persists while I haven't receive any word that anyone has checked or is going to check the problem~

I wonder what happens if this news gets to other broadband companies or the CEO of Asiaspace?

Anyway, do allow Amax a chance at this as this is the first time there has been any problem with specific area only~ 3rd Oct was a major overhaul of their database and it were only these 2 problems~ comparing to the other broadbands (wireless) in my siggy, Amax is by far the best wireless solution~ I hope that they continue to be number 2 (number 1 is Streamyx, lol) and not let us down~

How's the contract package? 1 Year got free modem? How much does it cost for the modem? What if I terminate my account within the contract period? Penalty?

1year contract customers need to buy modem while the 2years contract comes with free modem~ penalty is payment of the rest of the amount due~

P1 has coverage in Sri Petaling few months ago. I wonder how good is their connection right now? Better than Amax?
The only drawback is Fair Usage Policy.

over at your condominium, it is covered, the highest floor allowable for P1 is 10th floor, which will be very low bandwidth at 10th floor~

I informed the Sales & Marketing Manager as well as one of the mobile staff in hope that they would check the situation and that was about 3 days ago~ feel free to check with the past posts and inform Amax if you chance upon another visit or upon contact with anyone from Amax~ 2 of the TTDI office staff has been informed~
