Since I am scaling down my serpent breeding project, I will focus on breeding feeders more. Later I can supply feeders at reasonable price.

Those snakes look like they are strong enough to topple the tank over what-look-like-a banquet table.
Nice setup, and you made the background right? Sweet job.

rabbit and chicken, which one would u op to feed ur big snakes?
in nutritional point of view, which is better?
rabbit or chicken?
price wise, no doubt hands down, chicken get the best out of the 2.
but how bout better choice for nutrition?

i wonder my mother always used rabbits to cook chinese herbs , never chicken.

the other thing I can think of is ... no rabbit flu, only chicken flu ... and chicken flu is dangerous , especially H5N1 strain.

normally i bought ayam pencen around rm6.50 to rm 7.50 each to feed my 13ft, 8ft plus, 7ft plus retic,if i want ayam muda(okay guys, ayam not gurls k!!) they go by kilo, normally around rm5.80 to rm6.50 per kilo for live one, rabbit will coz me around rm25 each or sometimes FOC when they shop owner found one of their rabbit died when they want to open their shop in the morning.

so here is the price list of prey animal that i buy to feed my snake

Mice =rm2.5 to rm3.0 each(less then that if i buy more like 100 mice)if i got xtra money la

Rat =rm6.0 to rm7.50 each(less then that if i buy more like 100 rat)

Quail =rm3.0 to rm3.5 for black puyuh each
=rm5.0 to rm5.5 for white puyuh each

Chicken (pencen/old/hairless/ugly) = rm 6.5 to rm7.5 each

Chicken (young/hot/plum) = rm5.8 to rm6.5 per kilo depend on the market price

Rabbit = rm25 to rm30 each

Guinea pig (old/fat/hairless)= rm25 to rm30each

p/s 1)if you guys know anyplace sell cheaper than what i buy do let me know ya.heheheh

2)i dont buy all this at one time, just on rotation to give the snake some variety.
