I love watching english movies / court room dramas and comedies. Cos they're pretty serious .

But if i want something easier and lighter to relate, i just watch malay dramas and/or movies.

But depends la ..not all i watch. Some ridiculous laki kawin dua, cinta antara 2 darjat...boring stuff.

There are some nice ones, like Gol and Gincu , Manjalara (ok its a rip off..but hey we gotta start somewhere rite? smile.gif, etc etc etc

Lol sorry I couldn't bring myself to watch those series. They can't act. I had my share trying to watch some of the series, and usually it left me with disappointments sad.gif But I do find some quality on them, and usually these dramas carry heavy-plots and starred by senior/veteran actors.

Seriously, most of them couldn't portray feelings through acting, the use of voice tone, expression, gestures, etc which makes the quality a little more (if not less) than rubbish. I can take it if the series have phony/cheesy plot, I can also take their VERY THICK makeups, DATIN/TAI-TAI/AUNTIE fashion, but acting quality? NO.

TV3 still showing Kisah Benar (it was shot during the 90's. can see it from the fashion they wear, the vehicle they use, the real 90's KL)

i remember i saw that on TV, during weekday, 1:00PM (my lunch hour, lol)

It sucks...but not all. 70% i would say.
Same like the bollywood movie (i know i'm not refering to TV show),
they like to adding english in the script too.
I would prefer 100% not watching those stupid f**ked up teen taiwan
TV series. Bad as hell. Wat was in there beside the always streotyping of the artist look & dumb faces.
HK Tv series also nowadays suck as hell.
Always try copies the US show (ala Vegas, CSI, ER).
Last time TVB use be ok. Now...like no fresh idea liao.

Back in the 90s I watch cili padi

I'm not malay and its never because from what I've seen most of the malay drama always shouting,angry,shouting,angry and crying.
