some claim Tokina 11-16 sharper than Nikon 12-24...
but at much cheaper and with fix f2.8.

but also google and found some Tokina 11-16 with AF prob. soft ...etc
hmm.. damn blur.. no idea which could be a better one. if putting price consideration as secondary factor

I've read some review on Tokina 11-16mm, that's why I need someone who has this lens could come up and tell me the real thing.

Nikkor 14-24 f2.8 is the best. Consider the price is a killer. Slightly more expensive than 24-70mm laugh.gif

It's apparent that the ones with AF problems are the ones distributed in the USA. If you search local photographic forums, all you hear is good things about this lens.

But truthfully, PinkInC what are your options and budget?

Nikon's SD cards are normal speed if not mistaken. If you want "better than others", you can get Sandisk Extreme Series, or Lexar Professional Series.

This page will give you a good picture of the fastest card suitable for shooting JPEG and RAW.

Well, honestly it wont be a major problem until you shoot motorsports, sports or maybe some performance on stage. This are situation taht may require you to burst shots which could fill up the camera buffer fast. And if camera buffer is filled up, your camera stops shooting. SO, by having a fast ad card that can write fast, it prevent the camera buffer from filling up and stall the camera.

ahaha, yup, but now i wish i have a zoom lens too... if only lenses were cheaper! roar.
i'm stubborn in a sense that i didn't get the kit lens as well but the stuff i read usually say that the kit lens aren't as good as the others. tongue.gif

mmhmm, because i simply refuse to get a kit lens (LOL) and a zoom lens is rather expensive... i'd feel bad if i got the 18-200mm straightaway since my dad was paying and all.

apart from that, i'm gonna save up for a 50mm! smile.gif
