OK. then. I heard D90 specs is very good. Did anybody know when will this camera launch it ? I plan to buy a new camera to shoot for the Fireworks at PICC

Nikon mid-consumer model will cost definitely higher than RM3k.
Plus kit lens, might approach RM4k.

Not forgetting, in early stages, there won't be 'body only' package on sale.

It's fairly simple to predict the selling price, whatever the price of 450D now, the D90 (or whatever model name) will exceed that.

if this rumours true, it must use a silent wave autofocus motor otherwise it will interfere the sound of the video

Please discuss more on this camera in the D80 thread.

Mods can combine these two in there as well. The D90 is essentially a replacement for the D80 so there isn't a need to open a brand new thread just for the model's discussion.

Well it will come with 18-105VR lens which does have SWM. But i don't think the video recording capability is a big deal. As for the price, i'd say 3.5K for body, 4K for kit. That's what my crystal ball says la. tongue.gif Plus, when Thom Hogan puts it on his homepage, i have confidence that it's not a rumour or a speculation anymore.

but 40d body is rm3+++ already, if that's the case meaning it'll compete with 40D rather than 450D. Which bring D300 to its own class .
