As i know using small part of video / scene for review is ok as long as it doesn't cause any damage to the copyright owner. else most of the fans need to be jailed.

I usually observe popular websites/blogs like kennysia, shaolintiger and jeffooi. Each of them has their own genre from personal lifestyle to techs and cars. I also visit sites like bloggerbuster that provide free advices for bloggers. I just read through this thread today. I've to read this thread again tomorrow. I'm learning to become a blogger too so let's try our best together fellas!

Choose a niche topic to blog/write about. Are you a car enthusiast? Then write about cars..

Love pets? Then write about pets.

For newbies, especially in such a saturated internet space, try not to write a blog about everything under the sun, as those are much harder to gain in popularity...

unless of course you are a pretty girl/ have a huge group of friends/ a celebrity etc.

Then it's much easier. For the rest of us, be specific, do some SEO, use Facebook (a MUST) and just keep writing good content.

yes. it is because when user search for info, they dont search multiple niche in the same time. usually they will focus on 1 thing, like car, in order for the user to be happy and come back for more car info, the site is better to be specialize in the thing. other content means nothing but crap to the visitor
