How can this be the 'king of the king of digicam' and the 'Best digicam with 1/1.63 sensor size' when it isn't even out yet?

Have you even tried it to make those sweeping claims?

LX3 , f/2.8 , 60mm , iso400 (photoshop reduce noise, still retain more details than a200)
A200, f/5.6 , 60mm , iso1600
LX3 , f/2.8 , 60mm , iso400

LX3 can perform just as good A200 in low light, @ lower ISO and bigger apperture.

knowing panasonic, the sensor proc would be crap. Hopefully fuji can land the killer blow provided they stop with the mp race. They already got phenomenal dynamic range.

agree. Panasonic jpeg processing is one of the worst especially low light. But we never know. Let's wait
for review.

i guess point n shoot camera more like a camera that u can grab from the table and immediately press the shutter to take pictures...maybe turn a few dial to the wanted mode...

for like dslr cam...usually we need a lot of settings...that leaves to the dslr pro owner to explain smile.gif

can take nice pic at ISO1600?
Using same Venus Engine IV proc like Tz-series.
Only Leica and 1/1.63" sensor looks good.
Battery life so, so only.

QUOTE
F2.0 24mm ultra wide-angle LEICA DC VARIO-SUMMICRON lens. The F2.0 is about twice as bright as a F2.8 lens and can shoot at higher shutter speeds to capture clear, blur-free images in dimly lit environments. In addition, the 24mm lens captures approximately a 213% larger viewing angle than a normal 35mm camera and 136% larger compared to a 28mm wide-angle lens.

QUOTE
LX3's large 1/1.63-inch CCD to 10.1 megapixels. This made it possible to make each pixel around 45% larger than those in ordinary 10-megapixel cameras. As a result, both sensitivity and saturation is around 40% higher than in ordinary models
