File Music Zilla.

Has capability to record streaming audio (eg: Imeem,Youtube,Esnips)

http://www.freemusiczilla.com/

And of course you need to convert it back to *.mp3. There's few FLV to MP3 converter. Like what offered by DVDVideoSoft.

Tried, doesn't work.

I mean recording a streaming audio, not recording an audio for podcast.

Thanks.

Depends on how the audio is streamed. If it is using a "proper" streaming protocol like MMS, RTSP, RTP etc, something like Net transport would do, through apparently Flashget can deal with such protocols these days, not that i've tried it.

If its annoying Imeem/Esnips, check your cache folder. Usually its the biggest (or one of it) file. biggrin.gif

I don't think it's in the cache. It's MMS protocol. Will give Flashget a shot

I don't know, I just can't find any option to do so. Maybe you can enlighten me on that? Tutorials in google only show you how to record your own podcast, not others via streaming.

Vista dun have?i use win XP.
Wave out is one of the recording option in Audacity.
There are some other option like use line in, mic n wave out .( I saw it last time when i try to record sthbut canot remember clearly)
No matter laptop or desktop, they still have sound card to play sound.
Example, in volume control u can see a slide bar of wave.

Yeah I did, it's the same thing.

But last night I took the initiative to look for a solution for the "wave out" built in driver disabled problem for Vista and Stigmatel audio drivers, and I think I found a solution. Currently downloading something so cannot restart.

I did a registry change, hopefully I can re-enable my line in. sad.gif
