My Kenwood T3107(don't know correct a not) can transmit up to 2.5KM only, that is after 1 straight road and turning into housing industry. I haven't tried on highway. Yes, those smaller type of walkie talkie has 2.5watt(max) cause they are using a few of AA batteries, eg: motorola talkabout only has around 1.5watt I think. Whereas those the bigger one like Motorola and Kenwood has at least 4watt, where they use li-thium battery. ShiFu outside, correct me if I give any wrong information This post has been edited by Joshua_0718: Jul 23 2008, 11:32 AM |

Yes Motorola do. They are building the best two-way radio of the world. Can get clear sound even in noisy environment. But price is double what kenwood have offer on some model.
