 RealTemp is a temperature monitoring program designed for all Intel single Core, dual Core and quad Core processors. Each core on these processors has a digital thermal sensor (DTS) that reports temperature data relative to TjMax which is the safe maximum operating core temperature for the CPU. As your CPU heats up, your Distance to TjMax will decrease. If it reaches zero your processor will start to throttle or slow down so obviously maximizing your distance away from TjMax will help your computer to run at full speed and more reliably too. OK,copy from ver.2 .60
Unzip RealTempBeta.zip and copy RealTemp.exe into your previous RealTemp directory and overwrite the old RealTemp.exe with the new one. You need the library files from the main download to get the beta versions to work This post has been edited by stasio: Jul 22 2008, 12:58 PM |

Here's version 2.75 which incorporates the new IDF TjMax values for 45nm as well as similar changes to TjMax for 65nm.
