I need help. Streamyx has been lagging to singapore game servers. I am a competetive Counter strike 1.6 player soo its quite important to be able to play at ALL times. Some of my friends told me to keep restarting my modem till i get a good external IP. ( a year ago i didnt bother restarting my modem just on and play biggrin.gif ) At april - june the best IP was 60. , a few weeks ago 60 became 1000 ping and the best alternative was 219. Now i cant find any IP that doesnt lag ALL the time ( Some hours it lags ). I stay in Mont Kiara and i have only seen 3 different IPs, 60. , 219., 128. ( with 128. I cant even see the servers 2000000 Ping ) what can i do? any settings i can set to guarantee some IPs instead of wasting 1 Hour running in and out of my room restarting my internet 100 times? Any Reccomended IP for mont kiara.?

Useless Streamyx. Always got problem. EVEN INDIA has a better Line than us. At times its proven faster to dl from SG Servers than from malaysian servers. VVWTF. Singapore is at 10 MB LINES for 60 - 90 SG. Malaysia is at 4MB for 219?????? WTF???? or something ridiculous like that.

i'm seriously very glad to see your post. I'm also having the same issues. It all started after one DC sometime in 2007 and then the nightmare begins. And in year 2008 i had yet to get a nice ping to play properly and i wonder why? Is this country un-live-able? * Politics / Hike as if they playing SIM CITY / PL, etc. etc.

Thanks man. I just couldnt take it. I just joined today... LOL! . I just cant TAKE IT!!!!! look at singapore!!!!! Nowadays i go to singapre all i wanna do is sit in my hotel room and enjoy 6MB connections and 7- 10 pings as i usually stay on orchard which is near fragnetics.com servers and my father gets soo pissed as i just play NON STOP, but its not my fault as our country's internet SUCKS!This country is falling apart in EVERYTHING. Look at our politics man. DAMN!.

Seems to be fine here. I guess you must have been one of those unlucky issues with a bad IP Range. try to get a good ip range and see. if that doesn't work , its time to switch to a new broadband provider. just stay tuned for wiMax , hopefully it is able to provide a low latency connection for gamers (at least somewhat lower then HSPDA)

Isnt 200 MS bad? i used to get 20 - 100 MS last time
