ya, most ppl using digital compact camera,

compact camera :
http://images.google.com.my/images?um=1&hl...G=Search+Images
- limited functions, u cant control the shutter speed and aperture (exposure) effectively.

prosumer camera :
http://images.google.com.my/images?um=1&hl...+camera&spell=1

- manual functions, let u control the exposure and almost everything, including the focus length.
- different from DSLR - u cant change lenses, not thru-lens optical view finder.

DSLR :
http://images.google.com.my/images?um=1&hl...G=Search+Images

- manual functions, controls over everything, focus length, exposure etc.
- able to mount different lenses for different purpose.

To ma dSLR only serve 3 things;

(1) Superior Image quality
(2) Superior Bokeh
(3) Superior wide angle.... Can go very very wide compare to prosumers...
