Well, you are just assuming and jumped to the conclusion that ya thread is closed without any investigation done. Why don't you explain politely to the respective Mod and see how it goes? I believe that respective mod / staff have his own reason to close that thread.

Well, I've PMed him and invited him to join this thread. Let's wait and see what's the excuse he is going to give for closing the thread.

both threads weren't even started by you. if a moderating crew decides to let it be at a single thread, you can always enquire.

starting a thread here isn't necessary. to make it worse, your attitude pretty much sucks and it isn't helping.

just because a moderator decides to close the thread, that doesn't equate to ABUSING of POWER.

all in all -

1. your attitude sucks, you could've posted politely but you did not. it was as if that moderator had done something grevious to you.

2. you accused a moderator for abuse of power when you didn't even bother to PM your thoughts, which you could've done so, again in polite manner.

since you are behaving as if you're some sort of VIP and all, I'm closing this thread as I don't think you deserve any form of attention, seeing that you can't even conduct yourself properly in bringing up a point.

if those thread starters have no disagreement with the moderator decision, then i don't see any problem. if they do, they can drop a PM to the moderator who took action.

Look, there's a difference between an 'abuse of power' and a moderating decision. This is clearly a case of disagreement with a moderating decision pertaining to a thread. An 'abuse of power' would be where a moderator suspends or bans a user due to a personal issue with that forummer.

For the later, bring it up with the moderator in question politely via PM. For the former, PM myself or wKkaY.

For both, be polite because if you message any of us with this attitude, we'll ignore you or ask you to get lost.

Obviously closing the thread above is totally improper. Why do you close this thread and not allow others to post their comments here? Also I don't see fariz giving any excuse(as we can see there's no reason for closing the thread) for closing the thread.

If you don't lodge a report, you're coward because you are helping the police to abuse his/her power.

the way you conducted yourself when you first posted this topic itself shows that you opened this thread not to give your opinion on the issue, rather it was opened to openly criticize a moderating decision based on your own understanding of the issue.

All action by the moderating team except those explicitly stated in the R&R, are not final, and you're welcome to request us to review it. The key word here is request in case you missed it. Don't come here with your attitude and demand us to "wake up" and "open our eyes" and expect to be treated back with respect.

Well, I don't appreciate your complete lack of respect, rude tone and unfair judgements. It's all very abusive. You know what? The content of this thread is abusive and I'm not going to allow you to continue your abusive rant towards the moderating team.

You can call this an abuse of power, but really it's not. If you disagree, fine, you have that right. Just remember that you're equally at fault and share equal blame, if you really wanted anything good to come out of this, you should have shown some damn respect.

why the thread is close/merged? simple.

if you look at the replies, there are similar to one another. whats different between the 2 thread? one has a 5 software only cap and another doesnt. so what difference does it make? and YES, THIS DOES MAKE THE THREAD SIMILAR. so you better wake up and get your manners corrected.

Also, I didn't see any action taken to re-open the thread as it's very obvious that both topics totally aren't the same.
