I'm looking for plugin to personalize my winamp. But I do not know which will be best. Any recommendation? I'm looking for lyrics function though.

ok here's my list of plugins that i recommend to you which i think is the best around.

Lyrics plugins
Winlyrics - this is the one im using, i think it's the best lyrics plugin ever. Can syncronize with the song (support .lrc format). No fancy fadein fadeout graphic. Just easy highlighting effect. Not as buggy as minilyrics. and best of all doesn't open an extra program for the lyric plugin unlike minilyrics. Not free, shareware tho.

minilyrics - This is the most fancy lyric function ever for winamp. If u want the karaoke effect then get this. But it's buggy and slow. Opens up another program. shareware also.
http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details/143654

Leo's Lyrics - the best freeware lyric plugin. but doenst support .lrc format though so no synchronizing with your song.
http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details/141416

DSP Effect
Enhancer 017 - the best sound enhancer ever for winamp! Author haven't update this plugin for over 6 years but still this program is unsurpassed in terms of sound quality. If ur a winamp fan and don't have this, well go shoot yourself!
http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details/81361

Crossfader
SqrSoft Advanced Crossfading Output - the best crossfading for winamp. Need to be configure tho for it to work properly.
http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details/32368

Crossfading Output - if u don't wanna config anything then use this.
http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details/175

Other plugins
Easychords - the one and only plugin that display chords and tabs. It synchronize with your song. The chords it gets is for the rhythm part only so don't expect solo tabs from jimi hendrix music:). If ur a guitarist, then get this. Still in beta tho. ohya kinda buggy too.
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Au...sy-Chords.shtml

Dynamic Library - apart from enhancer 017, this gotta be the best winamp plugin ever. Dump the built-in winamp library and get this! You can't live without this plugin. IMO is wayy better than foobar's tabs function. In fact, it's sooo good and popular that the author of this plugin decided to released it as shareware!!. Used to be free tho. Author remove it from winamp website, but you can get it from his official website.

for abit of detail goto

or take a look at my winamp and see how dynamic library looks like when u organized properly. You'l get a rough idea on how it works.

The chords sounds totally out!! Anything that's good to replace? I might practice my guitar or kb.

Added on July 3, 2008, 2:26 pmJust wondering what's crossfading anyway.

Crossfade, mixing between the end of song a and starting of song b, so that it sounded like one instead of stopping and playing again.

install the crossfading output. this is for beginner who dont have any idea what crossfading is.
http://www.winamp.com/plugins/details/175

make sure your output plugin is selected as "NullSoft Crossfading Output"

try playing 2 songs back to back. For best effect, try playing 2 songs that does not have alot of "wasted" silence at the end.

which plugin are u talking about? i give 2 link, one is the SqrSoft Advance Crossfading and the other is Crossfading Output.

if ur using the crossfading output, then u just config the buffer size and block sample to suit your taste. If ur familiar with the settings and want more control of the crossfading, then go for SqrSoft Advance Crossfading. This is because u can have more control of it. But if u don't know what ur doing, then it can really screw up your winamp.

I see. Thanks. When I meant advance, means the advance version you gave me(SqrSoft Advance Crossfading). The ready one is this(Crossfading Output). I'm abit lazy to write, but thanks for explaining. Seems like I need to learn from Crossfading output 1st.
