Sometimes download whole nite can cause this type of problem. Some is because the modem model. My frens had this type of problem b4, they use Aztech and Dlink. After change to linksys and belkin then no more this type of problem. This is why enterprise network modem cost thousand. They do not required reboot even after heavy traffic.

Limited and no connectivity usually means there's no IP being served by the DHCP server. It is possible that the DHCP server has run out of IPs to be leased to the client, or it has simply run out of memory to function fine anymore. How often do you see this problem? Did you try with other PCs and see if the same problem can be reproduced? |

I've been using Aztech models for years now but I haven't seen this problem before.

my friend has this similar problem and i have had this problem too. used to use linksys. then had this problem where the connection only lasts for about 30 mins to 1 hour max then changed to aztech old model and is working fine now.
but my friend is using the new aztech and she has been having problems. the connection only lasts for about 15 mins then no more internet. the connection is still there but cannot surf. but when she uses her dads and moms laptop seems to be ok. only hers and her bros laptop seem to be facing this problem. any advise? |

P2P? P2P is well known to put heavy stress on the router/modem until the modem could not accept new connection anymore. What modem are you using? Can you try to ping the DNS? Ping the router IP? ping the website? What's the result? |
