Tourney ended

Final Standings :

1: mKvL
2: DNA-SK
3: Cybertime GOV
4: SKY BKT
5: Hand Lag Team ( LOL Ach and Fliz)

SKY BKT the team that hails from Subang FTZ area shows some serious promise as an upcoming team . Travelling so far to join a tournament and placed themselves within the top 4 is not for the weak minded.

Cybertime GOV , the ESWC Malaysia qualifiers first runners-up can only manage a third place finish this time around. The rate of learning from other top teams is catching up with their hard work prior to ESWC. More mature drafts and play from the top 2 this time around compared a week ago proves to be fatal for them this week.

DNA-SK , the team that disbanded after crashing out of the last 16 at the 2008 SMM Grand Finals has been reformed with 3 of their core players back at the core of the team with added 2 young bloods to spice things up again in the Malaysian Dota scene. However , the SMM 2007 champions played with the absence of Kyoshi , 1 of the 3 core players mentioned earlier. Despite their disadvantaged position , they beat the odds with great drafts and mature play to force a game out of mKvL at the Grand finals to make it 1:1 before losing a reloaded game at Game 2 to place second overall in their comeback tourney.

As mKvL will announce their new lineup tomorrow , the writeup about them will be reserved to a future date. But one thing is for sure, the departure of Xtinct and Angel to reform DNA-SK will be the biggest test for mKvL as a team to continue on to fight for dominance in Malaysia.

Thanks to all the organisers for organizing such a great tourney. Keep up the good work guys.
