@ Elico i been using foobar2000 for many years already love its enhancement clarity compare to other players. I am kinda a music fan so i own a z-5500D i play with 5.1 surround for movies and music.

About bitrate most of my file its usually 192kbps and above below that it sound crappy on my speaker. I never own a good mp3 player before tis is my first.

I have a curiosity so sony mp3 player have better bass and clarity because its player is design better without upgrading the earphone? but ipod in the other hand u need to upgrade to a few hundred dollar earphone just to sound good?

Not really logic there

so is it beause the player sux or earphone sux?

Sorry for 'tumpang" this topic.

Just a quick question..
Are all ipod nano made in China?

Found a shop (not authorized apple seller) that i wnat to buy the 4gb nano from. IT says it is assembled in china..

Just worried that it could be a fake. If is fake nano on the market?
Is so how do tell the difference?

well i can only give u a example here

imagine there is a Singer who sang nicely on the stage, but the sound system for the performance was lousy, ppl who are listening will sure felt that her singing was no as good as mention, by "upgrade" the system u can get a better effect out of it.

on Sony case, they have been the music industry for a long time, from Hi-Fi to Walkman to even Walkman phone, they have specialitic in making both the speaker (or earphone) and the system (or walkman), and Sony has their Mega Bass thing that have develope almost 10 years ago (i think, coz my bro old Walkman has it), u can imagine how many enhancement and improvement done since then. i dont see any reason not to say Sony has the upper hand in this field

on Apple case, Apple was always not specialise in speaker thing, listen to Apple others gadget like iMac & MacBook speaker, and u can tell the difference between a good speaker and a moderate speaker, even at those shop (reseller) they combo the Mac with a nice pair of speaker like Bose and JBL and so on.

The thing that sux here is not ipod, is the earphone provided, i have tested my ipod with my fren earphone from Sony, it sound better than the stock 1. thou i cannot say ipod own sound quality is very good, but i can say it is good enough for most sound.

yupe i think ipod are assemble in China, mine is at least. if u scare of getting fake stuff just buy from the authorise reseller. just look carefully at ipod clickwheel, it only has 4 label -- Menu, Play/Pause, Forward, Backward, the center button dun have any label.

err the 90days is the telephone service, not the warranty, the warranty is 1 year international

after u bought, when u connect to ur pc/mac the 1st time, u will need to register with Apple, they will start counting from the day u register

oh ya another thing to tell that is it real ipod is the dock connector, it shud be something like this

Hi,

Oh yes....this is what was recommended to me as well by the forumers here. I was first thinking of getting sennheiser cx300, the price is RM300+, but then member here suggested this mylar x3i, the cost is like almost half of the sennheiser..on top of the sound quality

sennheiser rm 300 i dont think its worth it spending so much money on a earphone.

RM 178 is quite reasonable for an earphone. Anyone tried this two earphone before? Can give any comment?
