The WRT54GL does not have an ADSL modem built in. How did you manage to plug in a phone line?
*

haha, that's what i did too when i first bought this router. i almost wanted to sell it off but later changed my mind because of the support of third party firmware. after that i got a super cheap modem from the forums and now its working like it should.

According to his posts on... I think the site was Linksys Info which is in Spanish, he is just making sure the firmware is up to par (Stable) as there was already a major error in the official 1.24 version of Tomato.

victek's firmware can set amount of bandwidth for each client while ori tomato cannot. that's the main difference.

barry80, go for this test version, after 1390 downloads no issues has been reported. Almost of complaints was due to inexperience from user. I'll fix as stable version today.

I am wondering in OpenWRT , its possible for people to have more then 1 AP (i.e 1 AP for Guest and 1 AP for normal users). I just want to ask if its possible for you to do that !

I've just upgraded it. It works very well and I'll post a picture of my heatsink most. Applied a bit more of thermal paste and pasted a heatsink so that the router would run even cooler under heavy load !
